Making our musical instruments.

ICE SKATING

Room 16 had an awesome time today at ice skating. We helped each other overcome our fears. By the end of the session we were doing such a great job, the ice skating man said our class was one of the few where everyone was skating by the end of the session.

Getting our skates, helmets and gloves. Thanks to the senior children who helped us to get ready.

 Many of us were just learning to skate for the first time. It was really scary, but we tried our best and could skate by the end of the session.

Week 4

First Aid

ST John's came to our class.

We learnt about the 5 emergency signals, emergency vehicles use.

We learned how to phone for help and why our address should be next to the telephone.

We were also shown how the ambulances can supply oxygen to people who my need it.

Drumming !!!

WOW ! That was great fun! We have lots of videos.

We enjoyed our drumming session so much, we came back to class and made our own  miniature drums.

We used a cylinder from recycled rolls, paper and an elastic band.

We used a lolly stick as a drumstick.
